With being told to wash your hands after touching everything, your hands are sure to be dry and cracked. One of the things to alleviate the feeling of dry and cracked hands is a hand scrub. But you do not have to worry about having to go out and buying a scrub. You can make your own hand scrub in your kitchen. With one of the receipes I have listed below:
RELAX HAND SUGAR SCRUB
- 2/3 CUP SUGAR
- 1/3 CUP OLIVE OIL
- 10 OR 20 DROPS OF YOUR FAVORITE ESSENTIAL OIL (optional)
- 1/2 PINT GLASS CONTAINER OR MASON JAR (1 cup)
Combine sugar, olive oil and essential oil into the container. Stir well in to combine ingredients. If necessary, add more olive oil. Once you have mixed the sugar scrub to your liking, take a spoon and measure about two tablespoons onto your other hand. Massage the sugar scrub you just made for a minute or two. Then wash your hands well.
