Hunt Club, a talent startup based in Chicago, has closed a $10 million Series A round to expand its recruitment platform.
The funding round was led by Teamworthy Ventures and brings the total funding raised by the startup to $14.5 million. The capital infusion will be used to boost the development of Hunt Club’s Talent Expert Network and its candidate referral technology, as well as the expansion of its recruiting team. Stephen Schmalhofer, a Partner at Teamworthy who will also be joining Hunt Club’s Board of Directors, said about the firm’s participation in the round:

We’ve been impressed by their remarkable progress, scaling revenue, growing headcount from approximately 20 to 120 in a short period, and bringing on several talented new business and product leaders to serve the market demand.”
Hunt Club is aiming to revolutionize the recruiting industry by building a team of high-performance recruiters to provide a personalized and preferential service to its users, instead of replacing recruiters.
