Blue White Robotics, an agtech startup based in Tel Aviv, raised $37 million in Series B funding to expand its “robots as a service” products for autonomous farming.
Co-led by Insight Partners and Entrée Capita, which also funded the Series A round, the new capital brings the total funding raised by the startup to over $48 million. This funding will allow the startup to accelerate the adoption of these technologies, increase new sales in the United States, and attract key talent to its team. Ben Alfi, Co-founder and CEO of Blue White Robotics, referred to the round by saying:
“With this new round of investment by some truly world-changing leaders, we have the power to continue our vision for a safer, smarter, and productive autonomous farm for the 21st-century. Our amazing team is excited by this new commitment to address many of the issues facing modern farmers and the food system at large.”
Founded in March of 2017 with the goal of building the world’s leading operating platform of autonomous systems, Blue White Robotics’ growth rate increased by 300% year over year. This success is the result of the startup’s use of existing infrastructure and intelligent automated algorithms to create robot tractors that improve productivity, accuracy, and worker safety.
The startup has also developed a platform responsible for data collection and distribution, which allows the creation of new services to support autonomous operations that increase output and decrease input.
